New car insurance bumper sticker?

I recently changed insurance companies, and got my proof of insurance info in the mail today. Together with my card and everything I got a bumper sticker that has nothing but its name on it. A note was attached that said I have to put it on my car as a proof of payment. I'd really rather not turn my car into a sign, if I do not. Does anyone know if this is actually a requirement, or if it's just an advertising ploy?

I have never heard of that being a requirement, and like you, I think it's just advertising. After all, I do not have one on my car, not to prove that I did not pay my prize? Hold it with the ID card they sent you.
